Ely Tigers welcomed Thurston to Downham Field knowing a win would keep the pressure on Wymondham and Holt, as the three clubs battle out for that top spot, it was the visitors that troubled the score board first with a penalty, but that was the only success they were to have all afternoon, as the home side finally ran out 22–3  winners, all eyes were focused over in North Norfolk, as Holt welcomed Wymondham to Bridge Road, in a close game, it was the home side that won the contest with a 18–16 win.

Wisbech travelled only the A47 to Fakenham, where the visitors went down to a 24-19 defeat, while over in Suffolk, Woodbridge welcomed Thetford, were again it was a close game, with the visitors taking the points in a 29–24 win, while Ipswich played host to Crusaders with the visitors recording a 21-5 win.  

Looking ahead to next weeks round of fixtures as the first plays second, and third plays fourth, Ely Tigers travel to Wymondham, while Holt travel to West Norfolk
