
League leaders Wymondham visited Fakenham, where they knew a win would keep the pressure on Ely and Holt as we enter the last month of the season, it was Wymondham that took the points in as 31-21 win, to open up a 3 point gap at the top of the league, mid tabled Wisbech made the trip to bottom side Ipswich YM, where a single point was the margin in Wisbech’s 13-12 win, West Norfolk welcomed Crusaders, where the home side run out 35-17 winners, Thurston travelled to Woodbridge in the final game of the afternoon where the game ended in a 22-7 win for the home side.
Wymondham head the league on 69 points, with Holt & Ely in 2nd & 3rd place both on 66 points, with the league champions coming from one of these three sides, with fourth place West Norfolk on 51 points, next weeks fixtures see Ely at home to Fakenham, while Holt travel to Crusaders and Wymondham welcome Woodbridge.
